Running through both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are the Teversal and Pleasley trails. Created from the remnants of past railway lines that served the coal mining activities of the region, these trails now offer opportunities for walking, cycling and horse riding. The trails pass through Local nature reserves hosting mature Oak and Ash woodlands. You will also find beautiful wildflower meadows, limestone grassland terraces and pools within the wetlands.

The Teversal Trails Visitors Centre, Carnarvon Street is just off Fackley Road, Teversal.
