Thoughtout the year you can find an array of entertainment within the town and surrounding area. A monthly Artisan market operates the first Saturday of each month from April through to October with a Christmas Market and Lantern Parade at the end of November.
The famous castle stand proud at the heart of the town and is well worth a visit to find about the history and family links with Welbeck Abbey, Chatsworth House and Hardwick Hall.
With in a short drive you can explore the caves and mammoth remains at Creswell Craggs, visit the award winning Harley Cafe and Gallery at Welbeck.
Enjoy long works through the grounds at Hardwick Hall, grabbing a bite to eat before exploring the history which surrounds the hall it’s self.
